MyProfyle is different from credit file monitoring and other identity protection services because you do not need to provide your social security number and some other personally identifiable information (PII) to use our IDveritas™ service. We use the latest, proprietary technology to detect fraud without requiring as much information as others who use older technology do. Keep in mind that while optional, providing this information is a good idea since it allows us to tell you if your social security number is being misused.
As a leader identity protection and fraud prevention, MyProfyle makes data security a priority. We use the same processes and technology infrastructure as many of the largest Internet companies and we constantly update our systems to respond to new threats and vulnerabilities. We make significant investments in staff training, policy refinement and activity monitoring to minimize the risk from human vulnerabilities.

While the credit bureaus and others sell your information, we do not share or sell your sensitive PII. When we detect use of your identity and send you an IDveritas Identity Alert and we respond to the submitting organization. We only share your contact information (name and telephone), the risk status you have told us about (e.g. recent lost wallet) and your photo (if you provided it) with the organization that submitted your profile to us so that they may contact you. We also tell them if the other information they provided (e.g. your home address) matches your profile without disclosing your private information.
MyProfyle members have access to a Dashboard where they can review identity alerts and update their accounts by clicking the Login button at the top right corner of this page. If you are unable to login, remember, your user id is your email address and you created your password. If you do not remember it, you can click the “Forgot Password?” link and we will send you instructions to reset your password. If you no longer have access to your email account, you will need to contact our support team at the email address below.
